Taro with Coconut Milk

A soft, nutty taro drink lifted with smooth tropical coconut

Taro has a mellow, slightly nutty flavour that pairs beautifully with coconut. The coconut brings a soft tropical note while keeping the drink rich and smooth. It’s simple, fragrant and especially refreshing over ice.

Please note: our Taro powder contains dairy, so this drink is not vegan.

method

Prepare the Drink (400–500ml glass)

  1. Dissolve 1 sachet of Taro powder in 50–70ml hot water. Sweeten to taste and stir until smooth.
  2. Fill a glass with ice.
  3. Pour in coconut milk, leaving space at the top.
  4. Gently pour the Taro mixture over the milk.
  5. Stir lightly and serve.

tips:

  • A barista-style coconut milk gives a balanced, creamy finish.
    • Pure pressed coconut milk creates a stronger, richer coconut flavour.
    • For a lighter version, replace part of the coconut milk with cold water.
    • Tapioca pearls can be added if desired.
