A lightly sweet, fruity matcha latte layered with juicy blueberry
In early 2024, we introduced a Matcha & Blueberry latte made with our homemade blueberry jam. The pairing was brighter and fruitier than expected, and quickly became a favourite. This simplified version keeps that balance of smooth matcha and juicy berry, with a beautiful layered look.

method
Prepare the Drink (400–500ml glass)
- Dissolve 1 sachet of Matcha powder in 50–70ml warm water. Whisk or stir until smooth.
- Add 1 tablespoon blueberry jam or preserve to a glass with a few ice cubes.
- Fill the glass with milk, leaving room for the matcha.
- Pour in the matcha mixture, stir gently and enjoy.
tips:
• Matcha powder and jam both contain sugar, so taste before adding more. Dissolve cane sugar in a little hot water if extra sweetness is needed.
• Oat or unsweetened soya milk pair especially well.
• Try strawberry or raspberry jam for a different twist.
